Akhil Mathur is responsible for the underwriting and due diligence stages of the acquisitions process, as well as dispositions of Virtú's assets. He began working for Virtú in 2018 before taking a short hiatus to drive platform growth for a small hospitality startup.

Akhil graduated from UCSD with a Bachelor's degree in Economics.

In his free time Akhil enjoys camping, snowboarding, going to the gym, and spending time with his family & friends.
